is it a video? // 10:01 am
Damn, Sufjan Stevens. It's just crazy how just a few seconds of music, a couple bars can evoke an entire world of feeling, of summer, innocence, warmth and pain all at the same time, the heart, oh the heart, it feels what it wants to feel.
Oh, to see without my eyes
The first time that you kissed me
Boundless by the time I cried
I built your walls around me
White noise, what an awful sound
Fumbling by Rogue River
Feel my feet above the ground
Hand of God, deliver me
Oh, oh woe woe is me
The first time that you touched me
Oh, will wonders ever cease?
Blessed be the mystery of love
transports me
I can't say I've seen a film where every single shot felt like a postcard that I want to collect into my mind, so deliberate and moving. And that final piece of acting was a complete masterpiece, when his name is said, and like that and then for the rest of his life, when his name is said, he posits that question with his eyes and lets the pain into himself and he invites the viewer to live in his name for just half a second and he looks away. The heartrending is enough to keep you up for hours and feel.
I have loved you for the last time
Is it a video? Is it a video?
I have touched you for the last time
Is it a video? Is it a video?
For the love, for laughter, I flew up to your arms
Is it a video? Is it a video?
For the love, for laughter, I flew up to your arms
Is it a video? Is it a video?
Is it a video?
There's that moment when you know, it may just be a video, and that's how he's experiencing it in the dark too, and the hurt crashing in like waves is all the time and all the world. And it hurts.
Call Me By Your Name
(The scenes are so well done, you revel in their ease of falling into their love, and their subtlest of movements, eyes, smiles, touches. Oh, those moments of
touch. Reminds me of my him: those times when warmth is so encompassing, and we are so close, I can feel his breath and I can study the colour of his eyes and try again and again but fail to memorize their colour. How curious, a piece can make you feel all those things, bring you back to all those places even though they are completely different from your own.)
If you are a human, feel.
That's what this film gives you.

for robots everywhere // 7:44 am
Breaking down
Your days are getting longer
There's a yellow glass dragon who's chasing you around
Sit your head on a silver jet stream while the smoke
is rising over your thoughts and your dreams
Watch over, you watch and fall down
Your nuts and bolts are all over the ground
You get up, get up
You get up, you get up
Something's leaking
It leaks from your eyes
where all these tears past the problems
Stop wasting your words from around
as you're running out of thoughts as it burns,
burning out
Watch as the flowers, thrones and winds
spills close as it whispers away
You get up, you get up, get up
You get up
I will love you
And I will love you

Post One // 7:38 am
Crossing over to this year has been kind of foggy, really don't even know where my eighteen days have gone. The dreaming has been a relentless.
Feel a bit caged in and hoping visits to the beach and frolicking in the sun will fix that up.

“If I write what I feel, it's to reduce the fever of feeling. What I confess is unimportant, because everything is unimportant.” ― Fernando Pessoa,
The Book of Disquiet
Long hiatus... have been feeling a lot, but no time to confess. Back soon.
New year, hello. So busy, I haven't even
thought about it.
Hope it's full of adventures to beautiful places. I am so spoiled.
